Economic Development
The Department of Economic Development plays an important role by focusing on the Town of Randolph’s economic interests. The Director of Economic Development liaises with state and federal officials to procure grant funds and works closely with the Regional Development Corporation to expand business opportunities in Randolph. Other key objectives include:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive website that promotes the message that Randolph is not only the geographic center of Vermont but also a thriving community worth relocating to! The Randolph Vibe encompasses all the recreational, retail, food, and quality-of-life amenities that make Randolph stand out.
- Collaborating with Federal and State agencies to identify economic development opportunities and support existing businesses.
- Establish partnerships with local, regional, and state organizations to maximize resources and create opportunities.
- Coordinating and building consensus among business, government, and the community for actionable economic development priorities.
- Creating and implementing a marketing strategy for the Town.
The Director of Economic Development can help you navigate the process to open a business, find a location, or expand your business, and connect you with technical assistance providers to help with your business plan.
