Municipal Ethics - Code of Ethics, Ordinance, and Complaint Form
The Town of Randolph, like all municipalities, is required to post information relative to the Statewide Municipal Code of Ethics, along with information on how to submit a complaint regarding an alleged violation of that code.
A municipal ordinance, based on the recommendations from VLCT and similar to ordinances adopted in other communities, is in the process of review and adoption. Once finalized, the ordinance will be posted to this page and posted with the other ordinances on this site.
The Town will follow the process established in the draft ordinance for complaints received prior to full, formal adoption.
To view the Municipal Code of Ethics, please see below.
To file a complaint, please complete the complaint form (available below). When finished, submit the form, along with any attachments (additional information, screen shots, contact information for others with knowledge, and so on), to adminassist@randolphvt.org.
Complaint forms will be routed to the appropriate designated local official. The Town Manager is the designated complaint recipient for the Town; complaints involving the Town Manager will be sent to the Selectboard Chair.
