Listed below are the most common zoning permit application forms. There are links to the forms at the bottom of this page.
The Residential Zoning permit is to be used ONLY for the following types of projects (please note: this list is not meant to be exhaustive, only illustrative):
- Construction or addition to a one-or two-family residence
- Conversion of a one-family residence into a two-family residence
- Construction of a building accessory to a one-or two-family residence (i.e. garage, shed, etc.) regardless of whether such building is attached or detached
- Construction or addition to a farm structure
- Home occupations (additional information sheet required - see below)
- Accessory apartments (additional information sheet required - see below)

Depending on your project, you may be required to fill out additional application materials that are not provided on this site.
Forms are updated every year. If the form you have doesn't have a permit number in the upper right hand corner of "Z24-", you are using an old form. PLEASE don't waste your time completing the wrong form. If in doubt, contact the Zoning Administrator.
The forms below may be partially completed electronically. However, you must print it out (double-sided printing is encouraged!) and date and sign the form. A sketch of the proposed work is also required and a space is provided on the form or you may included attachments.
The application fees are as below. If more than one category applies, the higher fee shall be required unless noted otherwise.
Any application that requires a public hearing with the DRB1.......................$175
1 This fee does not apply to two-lot subdivisions.
2 If the appeal is decided in favor of the appellant, either in whole or in part, the fee is refunded.
